Farewell 2022 and hello 2023!

ADFAS AGM highlights

ADFAS Pokolbin held the 2022 AGM and Christmas Dinner in December. Thank you to everyone attending. Robert Lusby's report is attached for your reference.

Our membership base is slowly increasing but remains short compared to pre-covid numbers. We need to build on lecture attendance and hope members will invite friends and family in 2023.

Robert (Bob) Lusby retired as Chair (but remains on the committee), while Liz Ewan and Ian Veroni retired from the committee, though we look forward to seeing them at lectures. We thank Bob for his wonderful contribution as Chair and Liz and Ian for their contribution and commitment to ADFAS over the years.

Lucy Griffiths, who has been membership secretary for some time, has been voted as the new Chair. Lucy and her husband Phil started Tranquil Vale Wines in 1997 and have been active in ADFAS for many years. Congratulations Lucy.

Our first lecture for 2023 is February 6th - Susannah Fullerton introduces us to larger-than-life writers, mistresses, lovers, and novelists who changed the face of the novel and its purpose.

Our lecture will be followed by wine and supper.

We look forward to seeing you in 2023. Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
